With a heat wave expected early next week, the Town of Charlestown, RI will be making the following locations "cooling centers" for the general public to access during their regular hours if you need relief from the heat:

📍 Charlestown Senior Center
Park Lane – Ninigret Park
🕒 Open Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

📍 Charlestown Police Department – Community Room
4901 Old Post Road
🕒 Open 24 hours

📍 Cross' Mills Public Library
4417 Old Post Road
🕒 Hours:
• Monday: 10 AM – 6 PM
• Tuesday: 10 AM – 4 PM
• Wednesday: 10 AM – 7 PM
• Thursday: 10 AM – 6 PM
• Friday: 10 AM – 6 PM
• Saturday: 10 AM – 1 PM
