Andrew Kettle, CARS Chief
Hometown: West Greenwich

As part of our 50th celebration, we will be introducing you to some of our members. We are excited to share their stories and how they serve our community. This week we are happy to feature Andrew Kettle.

Andrew joined Charlestown Ambulance-Rescue as a junior member with an interest in emergency services and medicine; and his 21 years at the department is an example of the dedication, commitment, and hard work consistently put in by the volunteers of CARS. Andrew progressed from a junior member and every position along the way to becoming Chief in 2018. For Andrew, the organization’s 50th Anniversary is a “Culmination of years of hard work, dedication, vision, and public service.” He says it’s amazing to see how CARS has evolved and is excited to see what the future holds for the department. When he’s not at Rescue, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren, dog Emmy and cat Maisy.
