| Last night, Chief Kettle, Lt Ryan Simko (West Warwick Fire Department), Chief Scott Partington (Narragansett Fire Department), Chief Craig Stanley (South Kingstown EMS), South Kingstown Town Manager James Manni, and Paul Valletta (RI State Association of Fire Fighters) testified before the Health & Human Services Committee in support of H7485.
H7485 would help modernize EMS by allowing reimbursement for treatment in place and Mobile Integrated Health / Community Paramedicine services, ensuring EMS providers can be reimbursed for the care they provide—even when a patient does not need transport to the emergency department.
