| After retiring from the United States Air Force in 2016, Richard joined Charlestown Ambulance-Rescue Service in 2021 as a driver. Not long after joining the team, he earned his EMT license and later his Paramedic license through the NEIT Paramedic Technology Associates program. Today, Richard serves as a Lieutenant, Boat Operator, Rescue Swimmer, and member of our Board of Directors. “Joining CARS has been one of the best experiences in my life after the military. We have that same sense of pride watching fellow providers advance in their careers to become nurses, PAs, nurse practitioners, and even doctors. We train hard to be ready for the worst so we can make a positive impact on patients’ lives during some of their worst days. It is amazing working alongside such talented individuals, learning from all of them, and becoming the best paramedic I can be.” Thank you, Richard, for your dedication, leadership, and continued service to our community! 👏🚑 |
