Charlestown Ambulance-Rescue just marked the busiest year in our 50 year history. We have completed 1,338 Patient Care Reports so far in 2021. Calls for service include medical, trauma, cardiac and respiratory arrest, motor vehicle accidents, and water rescues. This is in addition to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic response including testing and vaccine clinics. We’ve also provided coverage for special events like the Seaside Classic Soccer tournament, Annual Seafood Festival, and Rhythm and Roots Festival. Some of the community outreach events we've participated in included Karl Kenyon Smokey Bear Parade, Charlestown Parks and Recreation Trunk or Trunk, Charlestown Police National Night Out, Charlestown Parks and Recreation Christmas Spectacular and the upcoming New Year’s Eve Bonfire. The CARS Board of Directors and Chief Kettle want to thank the Command Staff and Members for their dedicated service and professional care provided to our community.

As the year draws to a close, CARS also wants to thank the residents of Charlestown for their continued support. We wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season. If you need us, CARS stands ready to serve you and your family.
