This past week members have been helping train a group of Hellenic Volunteer Firefighters Association in Greece, who traveled to Southern Rhode Island for continuing training.

All week long members worked alongside neighboring departments to train these volunteers in the areas of Search and Rescue and RIT Operations culminating in Live Fire Burn Evolutions.

Thursday night members also attended a gathering at Watch Hill Fire Department for a night of demonstrations, good food and a meet and greet with our new friends. A metal cutting prop was demonstrated with Squad 90, and a doll house burn was used to demonstrate fire flow paths.

All in all it was an awesome week sharing experience on both sides of the pond; all while gaining new friendships.
