2025 Highlights:
• 1,458 emergency responses serving our community, a 4.97% increase over last year, with an additional 61 responses covered by our mutual aid partners, representing a 4.02% mutual aid utilization rate
• 7 cardiac arrests with a 28.6% survival to hospital discharge, exceeding national out of hospital cardiac arrest benchmarks
• 185 Mobile Integrated Health and Community Paramedicine visits
• Installation of a $118,139.82 rooftop solar energy system through grant funding, strengthening long term sustainability
• Grant awarded from Ocean State Charities Trust to upgrade our video laryngoscopes to the GlideScope Go, the latest evolution of Charlestown’s video laryngoscopy program in place since 2013

Looking ahead to 2026:
• Expanding paramedic level staffing to include our non transport ALS vehicle
• Expanding advanced diagnostics with the addition of point of care ultrasound to our ALS units, with Rescue 1 and Rescue 2 equipped with Butterfly iQ3 and Squad 1 equipped with Philips Lumify
• Upgrading two outdated ventilators so every ALS unit is equipped with a Hamilton T1
• Advancing resuscitation capabilities in alignment with emerging evidence so definitive care can begin as early as possible
• Working toward Critical Care Paramedic Certification for our paramedic staff

These accomplishments and goals reflect the dedication, professionalism, and teamwork of our providers, along with the continued support of our community and partners.

Thank you for trusting us with your care and for your continued support. We are ready for the year ahead.
